Excelify (“Excelify”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides an online tool that converts PDF bank statements into structured Excel and CSV files. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Excelify you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you register or sign in (including via Google), we collect your name and email address.
  • Uploaded documents. The bank statement files you upload and the transaction data extracted from them in order to generate your converted output.
  • Billing information. When you purchase credits or a plan, payments are processed by our payment provider (Dodo Payments). We receive confirmation of your purchase and your billing email, but we do not store your full card details.
  • Usage data. Basic technical information such as log data, device/browser type and actions taken in the app, used to operate and improve the service.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide the core conversion service and deliver your output files.
  • To manage your account, credits and subscription.
  • To process payments and send transaction-related communications.
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
  • To improve the accuracy and reliability of our conversion engine.

3. Your bank statements & data retention

Your bank statements are processed solely to produce your converted file. We do not sell your financial data or use it for advertising. Uploaded files and extracted data are retained only as long as needed to provide the service and may be deleted automatically after processing. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

4. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate Excelify, including payment processing (Dodo Payments), authentication, and hosting/infrastructure. These providers are bound to use the data only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent. 8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Excelify after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
